Charts visualize the data from a dataset as tables, diagrams, or maps.
There are two types of charts in DataLens that differ by how they receive data from their sources:
- Dataset-based charts are created in a wizard based on the data from one or more datasets.
- QL charts are created through direct queries to the source.
DataLens supports different types of visualization: charts, tables, maps, etc. For more information, see the Visualization reference.
