DeltaPlanner is a universal toolkit for project management in companies of any type and size. The platform brings everything your team needs into one system:

• Project management: Kanban and Agile boards, sprint planning, Gantt charts, version planner, time tracking

Includes 20+ extension modules and a 19-language interface. Supports SSO, 2FA and Active Directory. Designed to serve up to 1,000 users and large data volumes.

1. Create a virtual machine from the DeltaPlanner image. Recommended resources: 2+ vCPU and 4+ GB RAM.
2. Attach a separate network disk for data with the label redmine-data and the “do not delete with VM” option. An empty disk is partitioned and seeded automatically. Without this disk, data will not survive an image update.
3. If needed, set mail parameters in the VM metadata:

• smtp_address
• smtp_port
• smtp_domain
• smtp_user_name
• smtp_password.

4. Wait for the VM to boot. All services (PostgreSQL, Nginx, Puma) start automatically.
5. Open http://<VM IP address> in your browser, log in as administrator (admin / admin) and change the password immediately.
6. Test email delivery: Administration → Settings → Email notifications.
7. For HTTPS, set up an SSL certificate on your load balancer or in Nginx.

• IT and product teams: run Agile/Scrum projects with Kanban boards, sprint planning and task checklists.
• Customer support: handle customer emails as tickets with canned responses and auto-replies.
• Sales teams: a single CRM with contacts, deals and a sales funnel, product catalog and invoicing.
• Agencies and studios: time tracking, invoicing clients for hours worked, project budget and expense control.
• Managers and HR: manage staff and departments, plan team workload, get project reports.
• Internal knowledge base: corporate wiki, Q&A and document storage with access control.
