Calculate Directory Server

Calculate Directory Server (CDS) is a free distribution of an LDAP server used for centralized network storage of user settings, apps, and access permissions.

CDS can replace Windows NT Server^® (with support for Windows clients) and enables quick deployment of such services as LDAP, DNS, Proxy, Mail, FTP, Jabber, etc.

CDS is Gentoo-based, which translates to stability and high performance on a wide range of hardware — from Pentium Pro to modern processors.

• Centralized user authorization with profiles stored on the server.
• Storing Samba, Mail, Proxy, DHCP, Jabber, and FTP accounts in LDAP.
• Replication of Unix, Samba, and Mail user accounts.
