Managing access to a dashboard

Access settings depend on the dashboard location, either a workbook or a folder.

To find out the dashboard location, click Dashboards in the left-hand panel. Optionally, use the filter by name to find the dashboard you need.

Make sure the user has the required role to access DataLens. If not, contact your administrator to have them add the user as described in this guide.

To configure access permissions for a dashboard:

In a workbook
In a folder
  1. Assign the user the relevant role for the workbook storing the dashboard. Follow these steps:

    1. Go to the workbook page and click Access at the top right.

    2. Click Add user.

    3. In the window that opens, select the user, specify their role, and click Save. The user will get access permissions for the workbook and objects inside it.

  1. In the row with the dashboard, click and select Permissions.

  2. Click Dashboard access.

  3. Enter a username or select the All group.

  4. Optionally, write a comment for the user you are granting permissions to.

  5. Specify the appropriate access permissions and click Add.

A federated user can go directly to the dashboard of their choice by authenticating via a link in the following format:

https://datalens.ru/<dashboard_ID>?__yc_federation_id=<federation_ID>
