Yandex DataLens Neuroanalyst is a group of AI assistants that help you with project analysis, suggest improvements and edits, and streamline creating and editing visualizations.

  • Neuroanalyst for calculated fields: Helps you to create calculated fields.
  • Neuroanalyst on your dashboard: Neuroanalytics on your dashboard.
  • Neuroanalyst in Editor: Helps you to write code and search for answers to your questions.
  • Neuroanalyst in report: Neuroanalytics in your report.

Data security and processingData security and processing

  • Neuroanalyst is based on the cloud service called Yandex AI Studio.
  • Your data and queries stay within the Yandex Cloud infrastructure.
  • The currently used model is Qwen3 235B-A22B-Instruct-2507; going forward, there will be more models to choose from.
  • Your data and queries are not logged, nor used for model tuning.
  • The admin can disable generation of insights for your users at the dashboard level.

Note

The number of AI queries is limited to 600 queries per user per month. We may consider increasing the limits if needed.

Ban on NeuroanalystBan on Neuroanalyst

DataLens users are able to use Neuroanalyst by default. However, the user with the datalens.admin role may disable this option at the DataLens instance level or for individual dashboards or reports:

  1. In the left-hand panel, select Service settings.
  2. Disable Neuroanalyst (on by default). As soon as you do it, the AI assistants will disappear from the DataLens interface for the instance users.

  2. In the top-right corner, click Edit.
  3. In the top-right corner of the edit window, click .
  4. In the settings window, disable Neuroanalyst (on by default). After that, the AI assistant will become unavailable for this dashboard.

  2. At the top right, click Report settings.
  3. In the settings window, disable Neuroanalyst (on by default). After that, the AI assistant will become unavailable for this report.

Setting up a custom promptSetting up a custom prompt

In DataLens, you can set up a custom prompt for AI. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings in the left part of the navigation panel to open the settings.

  2. Go to the AI settings tab.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Enter a prompt in the text field and click Save.

With each request to the AI, the custom prompt will be added to the DataLens system prompt.
