How to change the billing account type
Case description
- You need to change the type of your billing account from
individualtobusiness. - You need to change the type of your billing account from
businesstoindividual.
Solution
You cannot change the type of an existing billing account; however, you can transfer your resources to a new billing account.
Choose the account type you need in the tab below.
- Create a new billing account as a business in the current Yandex ID account or federated account.
- Submit the documents and wait for verification of the new billing account to avoid downtime of your cloud resources.
- After verification and activation of the new billing account, link all existing clouds to it following this guide.
Make sure to pay off the outstanding amounts on the old billing account, if any.
Once the clouds are moved, you can grant access to this cloud to other accounts. To do this, follow these steps:
