I cannot log in to the partner portal. What should I do?I cannot log in to the partner portal. What should I do?

If you received a welcome email on being accepted into the program with a link to the partner portal but you cannot log in:

  1. Make sure you are logged in with the Yandex ID to which your billing account with the partner status is linked.
  2. Check whether your billing account is activated and its status is Active.
    This status confirms that the paid version is on and there are no arrears for resource usage.
  3. Top up your account, if required. You can see the minimum payment amount when making a deposit in the Top up account window.

Send a request to yc-partners@yandex-team.com or your partner manager proviging your company name, TIN, and the billing account of your company with the partner status.

How do I change the login of the partner billing account owner?How do I change the login of the partner billing account owner?

To change the account administrator login:

  1. Fill out the application form, sign it, and stamp it with your organization seal. Make sure the login specified in the application matches to the current account owner and the application signatory is authorized to sign it.
  2. Send a scanned copy of the application and your partner billing account ID to yc-partners@yandex-team.com or to your partner manager.

Warning

You will need to register a new account on Yandex (Yandex ID) that you will not use it for authorization in other Yandex services. You will also need to log in and authorize with this Yandex ID in Yandex Cloud without creating new billing accounts.

Why does the subaccount balance always equal zero?Why does the subaccount balance always equal zero?

The partner is always invoiced for the subaccount with the partner bonus deducted, so there is no need to top up your subaccount directly. The subaccount balance always equals zero, and its usage details change according to the services deployed under the subaccount.

No, you can only use a Yandex account to add a customer.

Why do I need a unique organization when creating a subaccount?Why do I need a unique organization when creating a subaccount?

In Yandex Cloud, any cloud is owned by a single organization. To avoid you and the customer adding each other to your organizations, you can link the cloud you make for your customer to a unique organization named For 'Customer_name' subaccount when creating it.

How can I manage customer expenses?How can I manage customer expenses?

You cannot limit customer consumption to a certain amount. However, you can configure notifications using budgets to manage expenses.

How does the support work for my customers?How does the support work for my customers?

Each subaccount uses its own technical support plan, so you can pick the one that suits you. This plan is independent of the partner account support plan and is provided as a service.

How do I contact the Yandex Cloud partner program team?How do I contact the Yandex Cloud partner program team?

You can ask your questions on grants or working with Yandex Cloud by contacting support in the Yandex Cloud console. The support team will also contact the partner program team, if required.

How is the relationship between partners and Yandex Cloud regulated?How is the relationship between partners and Yandex Cloud regulated?

The relationship between a partner and Yandex Cloud is governed by the Partner Agreement that you sign when applying to participate in the partner program. The Partner Agreement is a separate agreement that supplements the Yandex Cloud Offer Agreement in terms of participation in the partner program.

You enter into an agreement with a customer yourself.

How is payment handled in Yandex Cloud for partners? What will happen if my account balance reaches zero?How is payment handled in Yandex Cloud for partners? What will happen if my account balance reaches zero?

Yandex Cloud uses a postpaid billing system. To get started, you should switch to paid consumption mode. Your account or subaccounts may start consuming resources without any deposit, right after activation. The amount for consumption across all subaccounts linked to the partner account is debited from the personal partner account.

At the end of each month, we will email you a service report that will show you the amount (excluding the partner bonus for the past / reporting month).

At the end of the reporting month, starting from the second month of paid consumption, you have 15 days to settle the payment invoice you receive. During this period and until you deposit funds on your account, your credit limit is activated. This credit limit is calculated automatically based on the average monthly consumption over the past few months.

If you do not settle the payment before the end of the current month or the credit limit is exceeded, we will contact you to clarify the reasons for the delay in payment and agree on the deadline for depositing the funds. If we fail to receive your response after several attempts to contact you, your resources may be suspended until the issue is resolved. Partners can issue payment invoices to their customers at any time. We only monitor the settlement of payment invoices between Yandex Cloud and partners. By accepting the offer, a partner commits to and accepts the rules for settling payment invoices under their account and subaccounts linked to it.

To invoice your organization:

  1. In the management console, click All services.
  2. Select Yandex Cloud Billing.
  3. Select a billing account.
  4. Click Top up account.
  5. Enter the payment amount and click Issue receipt.
  6. The document will open in a new browser tab and get saved in .pdf format.

Electronic document management is used for the electronic exchange of documents that are signed with a qualified electronic signature (advanced e-signature). Electronic documents have the same legal effect as their paper versions and are accepted by tax and judicial authorities via the internet.

Yandex Cloud sends unilateral reports using electronic document management.

What is a partner bonus?What is a partner bonus?

A partner bonus is a discount on Yandex Cloud services applied to the payment invoice issued to the Yandex Cloud partner's billing account at the end of month. The service report and invoice issued to the partner show the final amount including the discount.

The basic bonus is 20%. When registering a deal, you can get up to 15% on top of your partner bonus for as long as the customer remains linked to you.

You can link a customer subaccount to a partner account on the partner portal. Linking a subaccount is required for getting a bonus. You can view such a link on the partner portal, in the partner's Yandex Cloud management console, and in the linked customer's management console.

Linked subaccounts cannot see the partner discount in the management console. Yandex Cloud does not issue separate payment invoices to subaccounts.

The discount does not apply to:

  • Partner's own consumption of services in the partner account.

  • Consumption of the following services:

    • Yandex Cloud Marketplace
    • Yandex StoreDoc
    • Yandex Cloud Interconnect
  • Grants credited to subaccounts.

You can view the absolute and relative discounts for a reporting month under Partner bonus on the partner portal.

Yandex Cloud offers Cloud Marketplace services to customers with a minimum margin or with no margin at all. Therefore, we cannot provide any additional discount on Cloud Marketplace products.

What is the initial grant?What is the initial grant?

The initial grant enables you to gain hands-on experience with Yandex Cloud without paying for the resources you consume. The grant is issued automatically as soon as you create your first partner billing account or get your customer billing account verified. You can read more about the grants in this article.

You get your initial grant when you activate your first billing account. It cannot be issued for any previously activated accounts. Use Additional grants within the partner program if required.

You get the initial grant only when creating the first and main customer billing account. No initial grants are issued for subaccounts. Use Additional grants within the partner program if required.

What are additional grants for?What are additional grants for?

The program is aimed at helping partners launch their business of providing services to customers in Yandex Cloud. To facilitate the partner businesses, we provide grants. The program allows you to receive two types of fixed-term grants within the first six months of obtaining your partner status:

  • Grant for your customer's pilot project.
  • Grants under the partner support programs.

Such a grant is credited to a customer subaccount.

Note

A subaccount is an additional account for a customer billing account. It is created automatically when you link your customer's account to your own on the partner portal. It is displayed both in your Yandex Cloud account's console and the customer's console.

Send a request to the support team with the following information:

  • Customer's billing account.
  • Brief description of your solution and what the pilot is designed for.
  • Pilot project timelines.
  • List of required services.
  • Requested grant amount (in RUB).
  • Customer's subaccount linked to your account.

We will review your request and notify you whether you are eligible for the grant and let you know its terms (amount, validity period, and when it will be credited).
