Enabling notifications by email

To allow candidates to submit a request on their own, create a queue and a request form and configure automatic sending of confirmation emails.
Create a queue for candidates
- Create a queue using the Recruitment template.
- Give it a name, e.g.,
Candidates Queue
. - Set up a workflow or create a new one.
- Add the Hired and Not hired completion statuses to the workflow.
- Specify an issue type, such as
Candidates
, for the workflow.
Set up a request form
Create a form
- In the panel on the left, click
Create issue. - Under Try Yandex Forms for creating issues, click Create form.
- Create a new form:
- Name it
Candidate
. - Add a description, e.g.,
Vacancy request form
. - Click Continue.
- Name it
- Wait for the page to load and select the Text widget.
- In the Question field, enter
Full name
. - Click
Add question and select Text. - In the new question's card, enter Vacancy in the
Question
field. - Repeat the steps to add another question:
About you
. Change the question type fromShort answer
toLong answer
. - Click
Add question and select Email. - In the new question's card, enter Email in the
Question
field. - Add other questions if needed.
Set up integration with Tracker
- Click Configure integrations and wait for the page to load.
- In the Issue type field, select
Candidates
. - In the Header field, click
and select Response. In the dialog box that opens, select Name in the Question field and click Save. - In the Description field, click
and select Responses. In the dialog box that opens, click Select all and choose Formatted in the Response formatting field. Click Save.
Set up sending of emails
- On the integration setup page below, click
Add action group. - In the Action group #2 card that appears, select the Email widget.
- In the To field, click
and select Response. In the dialog box that opens, select Email in the Question field and click Save. - In the Subject field, enter
Job application
. - In the Text field, enter an email text, e.g.,
Thank you! Your request has been accepted
. - On the page below, click Save and then click Publish.
Create a test issue
- On the issue creation page, select Never in the Allow issues to be created without a form field at the top right.
- Click the widget named
Candidate
. - Fill out the form. Specify your own email address.
- Click Send.
- Check if there is a confirmation email in your mailbox.
