Creating a connection to SpeechSense from Yandex DataLens

Note

To create a connection and use datasets and charts built on its basis, the user must have the speech-sense.data.viewer and speech-sense.viewer roles in the relevant SpeechSense project.

You can create a connection from the Yandex DataLens interface or from the SpeechSense project page.

  1. Go to the DataLens home page.

  2. In the left-hand panel, select Collections and workbooks and open the required workbook or create a new one. If using legacy folder navigation, select a directory or create a new one to save the connection to.

  3. In the top-right corner, click Create → Connection.

  4. Under Files and services, select the SpeechSense connection.

  5. Select a sign-in mode and specify the connection settings:

    1. Copy the ID of the SpeechSense project you need and paste it in the Project ID field.

    2. Leave the Automatically create a dashboard, charts, and a dataset on the connection option enabled if you want to get a ready-to-use dashboard, dataset, and standard charts.

    3. Click Create connection.

    4. Enter a name for the connection and click Create.

    Note

    If the project with the ID you specified does not exist or the user has no access to it, the connection will not be created and you will get an error.

    To create a connection and use datasets and charts built on its basis, the service account and user must have the speech-sense.data.viewer and speech-sense.viewer roles in the relevant SpeechSense project.

    1. Copy the ID of the SpeechSense project you need and paste it in the Project ID field.

    2. Select a cloud and a folder within it.

    3. Select an existing service account or create a new one.

    4. Leave the Automatically create a dashboard, charts, and a dataset on the connection option enabled if you want to get a ready-to-use dashboard, dataset, and standard charts.

    5. Click Create connection.

    6. Enter a name for the connection and click Create.

    Note

    If the project with the ID you specified does not exist or the service account has no access to it, the connection will not be created and you will get an error.

  1. Open the SpeechSense home page.

  2. Go to the space you need and select a project.

  3. Navigate to the Reports tab.

  4. Click Dashboard in DataLens to go to DataLens. The Project ID field in your SpeechSense connection will be automatically filled in.

  5. Leave the Automatically create dashboard, charts, and dataset over connection option enabled if you want to get a ready-to-use dashboard, dataset, and standard charts.

  6. Click Create connection.

  7. Give your connection a name and click Create.
