Buying a subscription

To buy a subscription, you need the license-manager.user role for the folder.

By default, auto-renewal is enabled for all subscriptions you buy, but you can disable it at any time.

You can buy a subscription when creating a virtual machine or after creating a Managed Service for Kubernetes cluster.

  1. In the management console, select the folder where you want to create a VM.

  2. In the list of services, select Compute Cloud.

  3. At the top right, click Create virtual machine.

  4. Under Boot disk image, go to the Marketplace tab and select a product available by subscription.

  5. If the product you need is not in the list, click Show all Marketplace products.

  6. In the window that opens, select the product. To find products available by subscription, use the Pricing type → Subscription filter.

  7. Under Pricing options, select the relevant option and click Purchase a subscription. In the window that opens:

    1. Specify the required number of subscriptions and the folder they will be operate in.
    2. Click Pay.
  8. Finish creating your VM.

The subscription will be linked to the new VM automatically.

  1. In the management console, select the folder where the Managed Service for Kubernetes cluster is located.

  2. In the list of services, select Managed Service for Kubernetes.

  3. Select a cluster.

  4. Navigate to the Marketplace tab.

  5. Choose a product. To find products available by subscription, use the Pricing type → Subscription filter.

  6. Read the product description and subscription terms and conditions, select the pricing type, and click Go to install.

  7. Configure the application.

  8. Under Pricing method, select the subscription. If you do not have a subscription, click Purchase a subscription. In the window that opens:

    1. Specify the required number of subscriptions and the folder they will be operate in.
    2. Click Pay.
  9. Click Install.

Once the app is installed, the subscription will be automatically linked to it.

  1. On the Cloud Marketplace home page, select a product. To find products available by subscription, use the Pricing type → Subscription filter.

  2. Under Pricing options, select the relevant option and click Purchase subscription. In the window that opens:

    1. Specify the required number of subscriptions and the folder they will be operate in.
    2. Click Pay.
  3. Click Link to a virtual machine.

    If there is no appropriate VM, click Create a virtual machine and create one.

After purchasing a subscription on the Cloud Marketplace website, you need to link it to the virtual machine yourself if you did not do so in the previous step.

You can also click Create VM and purchase a subscription on the resource creation page.

  1. On the Cloud Marketplace home page, select a product. To find products available by subscription, use the Pricing type → Subscription filter.

  2. Under Pricing options, select the relevant option and click Purchase subscription. In the window that opens:

    1. Specify the required number of subscriptions and the folder they will be operate in.
    2. Click Pay.

After purchasing a subscription on the Cloud Marketplace website, you need to install the app in the cluster yourself. Once installation is complete, the subscription will be linked to the cluster.

  1. On the Cloud Marketplace home page, select a product. To find products available by subscription, use the Pricing type → Subscription filter.

  2. Under Pricing options, select the relevant option and click Purchase subscription. In the window that opens:

    1. Specify the required number of subscriptions and the folder they will be operate in.
    2. Click Pay.
  3. Click Link to a service.

After purchasing a subscription on the Cloud Marketplace website, you need to link it to the service yourself if you did not do so in the previous step.

  2. At the top of the screen, click Marketplace.

    1. Specify the required number of subscriptions.
    2. Click Pay.
  5. Click Link to a virtual machine.

    If there is no appropriate VM, click Create a virtual machine and create one.

After purchasing a subscription on the Available products page in the management console, you need to link it to the virtual machine yourself if you did not do so in the previous step.

You can also click Use and purchase a subscription on the resource creation page.

  1. In the management console, select the folder where the Managed Service for Kubernetes cluster is located.

  2. At the top of the screen, click Marketplace.

  3. In the left-hand panel, select Available products.

  4. Choose a product. To find products available by subscription, use the Pricing type → Subscription filter.

  5. Under Pricing options, select the relevant option and click Purchase a subscription. In the window that opens:

    1. Specify the required number of subscriptions.
    2. Click Pay.
  6. Click Go to install.

  7. Select the folder and cluster where you want to deploy the product and click Continue.

  8. Configure the application.

  9. Under Pricing method, select the subscription.

    If you do not have a subscription, click Purchase a subscription. Then specify the required number of subscriptions and click Purchase a subscription.

  10. Click Install.

Once the app is installed, the subscription will be automatically linked to it.

  1. In the management console, select the folder where the subscriptions will be active.

  2. At the top of the screen, click Marketplace.

  3. In the left-hand panel, select Available products.

  4. Choose a product. To find products available by subscription, use the Pricing type → Subscription filter.

  5. Under Pricing options, select the relevant option and click Purchase a subscription. In the window that opens:

    1. Specify the required number of subscriptions.
    2. Click Pay.
  6. Click Link to a service.

After purchasing a subscription on the Available products page in the management console, you need to link it to the service yourself if you did not do so in the previous step.
