Changing project settings

On the project editing page, you can change the project name and description, set consumption limits, and configure integration with other Yandex Cloud services:

Select the relevant project in your community or on the DataSphere homepage
in the Recent projects tab. -
To change the project name or description, click
next to its current name. In the window that opens:- Name: Specify the project name.
- You can click Add description and add a description, if required.
- Click Save.

To change other settings, go to the Settings tab.

Edit in the relevant settings section.-
Under General settings:
- Stop inactive VM after: Specify the time within which the VM will be stopped and deleted from the project if not running any computations.
- VM configuration for remote connection: Select the VM configuration that will be created when connecting to the local IDE.

Under Advanced settings:
- Default folder: Specify the default folder to store node logs.
- Service account: Specify the service account for DataSphere to create Yandex Data Processing clusters and perform other actions in Yandex Cloud services under. The service account must have the required roles.
- Subnet: Specify a subnet in the
ru-central1-a
availability zone if you need one to connect to other Yandex Cloud services. Along with the subnet, you must specify a service account with thevpc.user
role. To retain access to the internet and pip repositories in the project, the specified subnet must have a set up NAT gateway, and the service account must have thevpc.gateways.user
role.
Note
If you specified a subnet in the project settings, the time to allocate computing resources may be increased.
- Security group: Specify a security group, if used in your organization.
- Yandex Data Processing cluster: Select the Yandex Data Processing cluster, if required.

Under Limits, you can set up restrictions for your project.

Click Save.
