Oracle Linux 10 CIS Hardening

Note
This Oracle Linux OS image was built to meet the CIS Framework requirements. It may behave differently from the standard version. The Lynis hardening index of the image is 85.

Get an SSH key pair for connection to a virtual machine (VM).

Create a VM from a public image. Under Boot disk image, go to the Marketplace tab and select Oracle Linux 10 CIS Hardening. Under Access:
- Enter
ol10-userin the Login field. - In the SSH key field, select the SSH key you created earlier.
Save the VM’s public IP address.
- Enter

Connect to the VM over SSH. To do this, use the
ol10-userusername and the private SSH key you previously created.
