Block formatting
Warning
For the old editor, the visual toolbar is limited to feature only the essential functions. The main tool for working in the old editor is Markdown.
In the new editor, page content is divided into blocks that you can move and nest within each other by dragging the
To add a quote, note, cut, formatted block, or block section, select one or more paragraphs and use the following toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts:

You can also use tabs on your page. To add them, press /
and select Tabs in the pop-up window.

Note
For the Note section, you can choose its type: Note, Advice, Important, or Attention.
Alert
This function is not supported in this type of editor.
Tabs
When editing the Tabs block, you can:
- Switch between tabs. To do this, click the tab name.
- Edit the tab title. To do this, click its current title and enter a new one.
- Delete a tab. To do this, click to the right of the title of the tab to delete.
- Add a new tab. To do this, click
to the right of the tab delete button. - Edit the open tab content using the new editor markup.
Alert
This function is not supported in this type of editor.
Formatting block
To set up the rules for a formatting block, click
in its top-right corner. The following settings are available:- Alignment: Positions the block with respect to the other page content:
- None: No alignment. No other elements will be aligned horizontally with the block, and the block will be left-aligned on the page.
- Left: Left-aligned.
- Center: Centered.
- Right: Right-aligned.
- Width: Block width in pixels.
- Indents: Sets the free space between the border and block content.
- Border type: Sets border format.
- None: No border.
- Solid: Solid line border.
- Dashed: Dashed line border.
- Border size: Sets border thickness.
- Border color: Sets border color depending on the function of the formatting block.

This function is not supported in this type of editor.
Section
You can split a portion of your page into several columns without using tables. To do this, click
in the toolbar.The section consists of several cells. To add a new cell, click the blank space between two existing ones. You can use markup elements of the new editor inside the cell.
You can change the number and layout for all cells in one go. To do this, click any cell. You will see a pop-up window where you can:
- Set the number and size of the cells using one of the four templates.
- Align to the left, right, center, or justify the cells across the page.
- Delete the entire section.
Under Section, you can select:
- Number and position of cells:
- Two cells
- Large on the right
- Large on the left
- Three cells
- Position of the entire section:
- Entire section left aligned
- Entire section centered
- Entire section right aligned
To delete a cell, in its top-right corner, click
→ Delete cell.You can also change the width of any cell. To do this, in its top-right corner, click
and change the Width field.Alert
