Setting up background and transparency for dashboard widgets in Yandex DataLens

You can apply this setting to all dashboard widgets separately for the light and dark theme.

To set up widgets background and transparency on the dashboard:

Warning

If you use the new DataLens object model with workbooks and collections:

  1. In the left-hand panel, select Collections and workbooks.
  2. Open the workbook you need and select an object.

Proceed with this guide from Step 2.

  1. In the left-hand panel, click Dashboards and select the dashboard you need. If you do not have a dashboard, create one.

  2. In the top-right corner, click Edit.

  3. At the top of the screen, click . The settings window will open on the right.

  4. Under Appearance, select the dashboard theme to configure the background for:

    • : Light theme.
    • : Dark theme.
  5. Set widget background. Do it by clicking the Widget background input field and selecting one of the presets or specifying the color in hexadecimal format.

  6. Set widget transparency by entering it as a percentage to the right of the widget color input field.

  7. In the top-right corner of the dashboard edit window, click Save.

The settings will apply to all dashboard widgets lacking the same information in individual widget settings.
