  1. In the left-hand panel, select Collections and workbooks.
  2. Open the appropriate workbook and select an object.

Follow the guide from step 2.

  1. In the left-hand panel, click Dashboards and select the dashboard you need. If you do not have a dashboard, create one.

  2. In the top-right corner, click Edit.

  3. At the top of the screen, click .

  4. In Other settings, next to the Access error message field, click Configure.

  5. Enter the message text and click Save.

    Note

The Markdown markup language is supported.

  6. In the Settings window, click Save.

  7. In the top-right corner, click Save.

Now, if the user has no dashboard view permission, they will see the saved message.

Note

Viewing access permissions for a dashboard with the access error message enabled is only available for users with the Write or Admin permissions for the dashboard.

Users with the Read permission cannot view the list of access permissions for this dashboard or request changing access to it via the DataLens interface.

To delete a message for a permission request, save an empty message in the Access error message window.
