Yandex Browser for organizations

Yandex Browser for organizations is designed for corporate use. It was built with security at its core. Yandex Browser supports CryptoPro and National Certification Center (NCC) certificates as well as group policies for access management and browser control. It is also compatible with Russian operating systems, such as AlterOS, RedOS, Astra, Alt, and Rosa.

Centralized browser configuration

With group policies, you can manage browser settings for all employees in a centralized way. They enable system administrators to apply the same settings for a group of users.

Monitoring of security events

Extended browser version supports exporting security events to SIEM systems. This way, security teams can track suspicious activity across all corporate workstations with network access and take prompt action. For example, if they spot a malicious extension on a workstation, they can immediately block it on all other devices.

OS-agnostic browser fleet management

Upgrading to the extended browser version unlocks access to the admin account, which allows you to:

• Manage your organization’s browser fleet, create profiles for employees and departments.
• Configure group policies in a centralized manner for any OS.
• Manage licenses (coming soon).
• Manage extensions which employees install in their browsers, set installation rules, and control the access level to the browser API (coming soon).

Legacy software support

Modern browsers may not support certain features of corporate web services developed a long time ago.

Yandex Browser for organizations comes with a compatibility mode you can use with applications optimized for Internet Explorer. It also works with ActiveX, COM, Java, Internet, and other components.
