IconTeam Free
IconTeam is a team and business process management system. The free version supports up to 5 users and allows you to:
- Keep track of how your assignments are progressing.
- Create tasks and subtasks.
- Generate time spent reports.
- Manage sprints and releases, estimate workload using
Story Point
and in man-hours. - Leverage the platform’s project team/business unit management capabilities.
- Visualize your projects using Kanban board, spreadsheets, cross boards, roadmaps, and other tools.
IconTeam’s analytical tools allow you to manage relevant project data across your whole company, including tasks spanning multiple projects or recurrent tasks. With IconTeam, you can monitor deadline and labor cost deviations, and analyze your teams' performance dynamics.

Create a security group in the network you are going to deploy your IconTeam VM in and configure the following incoming traffic rule:

Get an SSH key pair for connection to the VM.

Create a VM from a public image:

Under Boot disk image, go to the Cloud Marketplace tab. In the Product search field, enter
IconTeam
and select the IconTeam public image. -
Under Network settings:
- In the Subnet field, specify the ID of a subnet in the new VM’s availability zone. Alternatively, you can select a cloud network from the list.
- In the Security groups field, select the security group you created earlier.

Under Access:
- Enter the username in the Login field.
- In the SSH key field, select an SSH key from the list or add a new one.

Connect to the VM over SSH.

Get the administrator username and password from the
/opt/iconteam/admin_password
by running this command:cat /opt/iconteam/admin_password

Copy the username and password: you will need them to access the web interface.

In your browser, open
http://<VM_public_IP_address>/
. -
To log in, use the credentials you got earlier from the
/opt/iconteam/admin_password
file. -
We recommend you to change your username and password in the app’s web interface after you log into the system:
- In the top-right panel, click the user profile icon → Edit.
- In the Security tab, fill in the required fields and click Update.

Delete the file with your login credentials by running this command:
rm /opt/iconteam/admin_password
.
