Teams and business processes can be efficiently managed using the free version of program IconTeam for up to 5 users that allows you to monitor the execution of orders, create tasks and subtasks, generate reports on time spent, and use the platform’s operational management capabilities.
The system provides methods for the visual representation of projects, such as Kanban boards, tables, cross boards, roadmaps, etc.

A special feature of the product is the availability of actively developed analysis tools. In addition to the standard functions for project management services, they provide management of up-to-date information on the progress and results of work throughout the company, including end-to-end and cross-project tasks.
With IconTeam, you can assess trends in team performance and track deviations from deadlines and labor costs.

IconTeam can be integrated with other products such as GitLab, AD, Open LDAP, BitBacket and Jira and provides data security and user privacy, including user authentication and authorization, data protection and can be used by both small and large organizations depending on their needs and project scope.
SaaS deployment of the product in the vendor’s cloud is considered the primary distribution model, while on-premises installation in the customer’s local infrastructure is available for large enterprises that need to comply with corporate information security policies and prevent sensitive data leakage.

Deployment instructions
  1. Create an SSH key pair to connect to a virtual machine (VM).
  2. Create a VM from a public image. Under the Image/Boot Disk Selection, navigate to the Cloud Marketplace tab and select IconTeam.
  3. Under Access:
    • Enter the username in the Login field.
    • Paste the contents of the file with the open SSH key into the SSH Key field.
  4. A few minutes after creating the virtual machine from the image, the application will be available at the link http://<public_IP-address_of_the_virtual_machine>/
  5. The login and password for the first login attempt to IconTeam can be found in the /opt/iconteam/admin_password file. To retrieve this information, connect to the VM via SSH using the user info from step 3 and execute the command:
cat /opt/iconteam/admin_password

After successfully logging into the system, change login and password in the application’s web interface, in the Security tab of the user editing section. Delete the file with the login data using command:

rm /opt/iconteam/admin_password
