IPSec instance

An image with a pre-installed strongSwan solution for Linux and pre-configured routing and IP address translation rules. It can be used for secure connections between resources in a local data center and cloud resources through an IPSec tunnel. In this case, only one public IP address will be used: the one that will be assigned to the IPSec instance.
- Get an SSH key pair to connect to a virtual machine (VM).
- Create a VM from a public image. Under Image/boot disk selection, go to the Cloud Marketplace tab and select IPSec instance. Under Access:
- Enter the username in the Login field.
- Paste the contents of the public key file in the SSH key field.
- Connect to the VM via SSH. To do this, use the username you set when creating the VM and the private SSH key you created earlier.
- Creating a secure connection between resources in a local data center and cloud resources.
- Creating a secure connection between resources hosted in the clouds of different providers.
