Cyberprotect Advanced Backup Gateway is a gateway for storing backups in Yandex Cloud object storage.
Note
To use this application, you need access to the control panel of Cyber Backup, which is a separate product.

Create a service account with the
admin
role. -
Create a cloud network.

Get an SSH key pair to connect to VMs in the cluster.

In the management console, select Cloud Apps.

On the left-hand panel, select Marketplace.

Select Cyberprotect Advanced Backup Gateway (ABGW) and click Use.

Specify the following:
- Application name.
- Application description (not required).
- Service account you previously created.
- ID of the cloud network you previously created.
- CIDRs of subnets in the
ru-central1-a
,ru-central1-b
, andru-central1-c
availability zones. The subnets will be automatically created in the specified cloud network during the application installation. - Address, username, and password for the Cyber Backup panel.
- Username and public SSH key to access the VM over SSH.
- User password to access the Cyber Backup control panel.
- Number of VMs in the cluster. More VMs will linearly increase gateway throughput.
- VM disk size.

Click Install.

Wait for the application to change its status to
Deployed
.
- Storing backups for the Cyber Backup solution in Object Storage.
