Linking a billing account to Yandex Identity HubLinking a billing account to Yandex Identity Hub

By default, an Yandex Identity Hub organization has a non-billable connection limit of 15 users who can authenticate to external applications within the calendar month. To use Yandex Identity Hub's billable features and change this connection limit, link a billing account to Yandex Identity Hub:

Cloud Center UI
  1. Log in to Yandex Identity Hub.

    Note

To link a billing account to Yandex Identity Hub, the following roles are required:

    • The organization-manager.idpInstances.billingAdmin role or higher for the Yandex Identity Hub organization.
    • The billing.accounts.editor role or higher for the billing account.
  2. In the left-hand panel, select Billing management.

  3. To link a billing account for the first time:

    1. In the top-right corner, click Link account and in the window that opens:

      1. Select the billing account you need from the list.

If you do not have a billing account or would like to create a new one, click Create an account and follow this guide to create a new billing account.

      2. Click Link.

  4. To change a billing account linked to Yandex Identity Hub:

    1. In the top-right corner, click Change account and in the window that opens:

      1. Select the billing account you need from the list.

If you want to create a new billing account, click Create an account and follow this guide to create a new billing account.

      2. Click Link.

This will link your billing account to Yandex Identity Hub, and you will be able to use and manage Yandex Identity Hub's billable features.

Viewing limit usage statisticsViewing limit usage statistics

To view organization users' connection limit usage statistics:

Cloud Center UI
  1. Log in to Yandex Identity Hub.

    Note

To view connection limit usage data for an organization, you need the organization-manager.idpInstances.billingViewer role or higher for that organization.

  2. In the left-hand panel, select Billing management.

  3. Under Users logged into external applications, you can see the current limit in place and how much of it has been used.

Expand the Users logged into external applications section for a list of users who have used the connection limit this current month. This list contains user names and IDs, as gives the date and time the user first authenticated to an external application during the current month.

    Tip

To quickly find info on a specific user, use the search bar to enter the login or ID.

Editing the connection limitEditing the connection limit

To edit the connection limit:

Cloud Center UI
  1. Log in to Yandex Identity Hub.

    Note

To change the connection limit in an organization, you need the organization-manager.idpInstances.billingAdmin role or higher for that organization.

  2. In the left-hand panel, select Billing management.

  3. If your billing account is not linked to Yandex Identity Hub yet, link it to be able to use Yandex Identity Hub's billable features.

  4. Click Change limit, and in the window that opens:

    1. To increase the connection limit:

      1. In the New limit field, increase the connection limit and click Go to payment.

Extra users above the non-billable limit will be billed.

      2. In the window that opens, check the payment amount and click Pay to confirm your payment.

The amount will be debited from your billing account, and the connection limit will be updated directly after the payment.

    2. To reduce the connection limit:

      1. In the New limit field, reduce the connection limit and click Save.

The already paid connections will remain valid until the end of the current month, and the changes you make will take effect starting from the first day of the next month.

        Note

You can only reduce the limit to the non-billable level of 15 connections.
