New features
- Added an option to issue Let's Encrypt TLS certificates via Yandex Certificate Manager. To start using Certificate Manager to issue certificates, contact support.
- Added support for the GitLab Pages feature at the Preview stage.
Fixes and improvements
- Improved generation of the main GitLab configuration file, which reduces the probability of mismatch between configurations.
- Improved the mechanism for automatic GitLab instance updates.

You can now monitor the state of your GitLab instance from the Yandex Cloud management console. You can view the state charts in the Monitoring tab or in Yandex Monitoring. This feature is currently in Preview.

Now you can manage GitLab Runner agents from the Yandex Cloud management console. This feature is currently in Preview. To get access, contact support or your account manager.

On July 1, 2024, the approval rules feature entered the General Availability stage and is now charged according to the pricing policy.

Instances residing in the ru-central1-c availability zone can now be migrated to a different zone.
January 2024
- Added the Yandex ID authentication provider.
- Added the service of migrating an instance from GitLab to Managed Service for GitLab. This feature is currently in Preview.
