You can back up your instances manually.

Management console

Navigate to Managed Service for GitLab.
Click the instance name and select Backups.

Creating a backup

Navigate to Managed Service for GitLab.
Click the instance name and select Backups.
Click Create backup.

Restoring an instance from a backup

To restore an instance from a backup, contact technical support.

You can recover a deleted instance in the same way. When you delete an instance, the system automatically creates its backup which is stored for two weeks.
