Managing users
Warning
You need the administrator privileges to manage users in your organization.
Tracker supports organizations from Yandex 360 for Business and Yandex Cloud
To collaborate on issues with your colleagues, add them to Tracker. There are several ways to do this:
- Inviting users with Yandex accounts to Tracker.
- Adding users to Yandex Cloud Organization.
- Creating new accounts on your organization's domain.
- Configuring an identity federation. With an identity federation, your employees can log in to Tracker using their corporate accounts in Active Directory, Google Workspace, or other user account management systems.
Warning
If full access for new users is enabled automatically in the Tracker settings, the cost of using the service may increase when adding new users to your organization.
Inviting users to your organization
To invite a user to an organization:

Open the Tracker page
and log in to the admin account. -
In the left-hand panel, click
Add user (if you do not see this section, click More). -
In the window that opens, specify employees' email addresses (such as
login@yandex.com
) separated by commas and click Send invitation. Each user will receive an email prompting to join your organization.You can send invitations to any email address. Invited users will be able to select the appropriate Yandex account once they accept the invitation.
To log in to Tracker, the invited user should follow the link from the email, accept the invitation, and select the account to log in with.
You can also invite users in Yandex Cloud Organization. For more information, see the documentation.
The administrator can grant user permissions only after the user accepts the invitation. To make sure the user gets the appropriate permissions or joins a group immediately after accepting the invitation, you can add them to the Yandex Cloud Organization group. To do this:

Send an invitation to Yandex Cloud Organization.

In the left-hand panel, select the Groups
section and click the line with the group name (if you do not see this section, click More). -
Go to the Members tab.

Click Add member.

In the Adding participants window, select a user from the Invitee accounts list or search by user.

Click Save.

Setting up an identity federation
An identity federation is a technology that allows you to implement a Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication scheme so that your employees can log in to Yandex Tracker using their corporate accounts in Active Directory, Google Workspace, or other SAML-compatible user account management systems.
To create an identity federation for an organization:

Open the Tracker page
and log in to the admin account. -
In the left-hand panel, click Administration → Organizations (if you do not see this section, click
More). -
Under Yandex Cloud Organization, click Connect. The Yandex Cloud Organization page will open.

Specify the federation settings and click Create federation.
Users with corporate accounts can log in to Tracker by clicking Log in via SSO.

Creating user accounts
To create user accounts, connect your company's email domain in Yandex 360 for Business

Open the Tracker page
and log in to the admin account. -
In the left-hand panel, click Administration → Organizations (if you do not see this section, click
More). -
Under Yandex 360 for Business, click Add organization. A window with your organizations will open. You can create a new organization or go to an existing one.
Note
If your organization has no email domain connected, in Yandex 360 for Business
, click Configure mail and add a domain. To learn more, see Help for the service . -
In Yandex 360 for Business, create user accounts
.
To log in to Tracker, an employee with an account on the domain will need to enter their full email address (such as login@example.com
) and password.
Deleting a user account
To delete a user account from Tracker, remove the employee from the organization they belong to:
Note
To delete a user account registered both in Yandex Cloud Organization and Yandex 360 for Business, remove it from both organizations.
You can also edit user permissions: read mode is free of charge.
