Delete backup
Note
To delete backups, make sure the folder contains at least one VM or BareMetal server connected to Cloud Backup. If there are no such VMs or servers, temporarily create a new VM with a connection to Cloud Backup and delete the backups.
For information on using BareMetal servers, see Connecting a BareMetal server to Cloud Backup. BareMetal is at the Preview stage.
- In the management console
, select the folder where the backup is located. - Select Cloud Backup.
- Go to the
Backups tab. - Click
next to the backup, and select Delete. - Confirm the deletion.
If you do not have the Yandex Cloud command line interface yet, install and initialize it.
The folder specified in the CLI profile is used by default. You can specify a different folder using the --folder-name
or --folder-id
parameter.
