SvoiMail - Professional

Updated October 30, 2026

SvoiMail — Professional deploys a dedicated mail server on a virtual machine in your Yandex Cloud folder

After the VM is created, the system installs automatically, downloads a verified SvoiMail release, generates unique keys, and activates the Professional plan

Use the admin panel to add mail domains, copy the required DNS records, and create mailboxes without a license limit on their number

The product includes advanced spam protection, full-text search across messages and supported attachments, webmail, automatic TLS certificates, and updates

Mail data remains on the disk attached to your VM

Minimum: 4 vCPU, 12 GB RAM, and an 80 GB boot disk

Recommended: 4 vCPU, 16 GB RAM, and a network-ssd boot disk of at least 100 GB

Billing

No trial period is provided

The software is billed under the PAYG Instance per hour plan while the VM is running

Yandex Cloud meters usage per second. The current price is shown on the product page before the VM is created

Compute resources, disks, static public IPv4 addresses, and outbound traffic are billed separately by Yandex Cloud

Important network requirements

Use a deletion-protected static public IPv4 address for a production mail server

Direct delivery to external mail servers requires outbound TCP/25 to be allowed for the customer’s billing account. Agree on the enablement process with Yandex Cloud in advance

Before creating a production VM, confirm outbound TCP/25 availability and the PTR setup process for the static address

If direct TCP/25 is unavailable, configure and test an SMTP relay in advance. Without it, messages cannot be delivered to external domains

A dynamic address can change after the VM is stopped and is unsuitable for mail DNS records, PTR, and sender reputation

Use a dedicated security group. Allow the documented mail ports, and restrict 22/TCP and 8443/TCP to the administrator’s trusted network

Deployment instructions
  1. Click Use
  2. Select at least 4 vCPU, 12 GB RAM, and an 80 GB boot disk
  3. Select the network, subnet, and prepared security group
  4. Select the prepared static public IPv4 address
  5. Configure OS Login with compute.osAdminLogin, or provide an SSH public key for a user with sudo
  6. Create the VM and wait for the automated installation to finish

First sign-in

Connect to the VM over SSH and retrieve the first sign-in details

ssh -t <SSH_USER>@<PUBLIC_IP> \
  'sudo cat /var/lib/svoimail-marketplace/admin-credentials'

Wait until the panel has a valid certificate for the IP address, then open

https://<public-ip>:8443

Do not submit the password over HTTP or disable TLS verification

After signing in, change the administrator password and remove the file with the initial details

ssh -t <SSH_USER>@<PUBLIC_IP> \
