eLearning Server 5G is a Russian-made new-generation learning management system (LMS). It is included in the Unified Register of Russian Software. eLearning Server 5G is a platform that delivers access to cutting-edge knowledge and technology for thousands of employees and students.
The eLearning Server 5G tools enable the implementation of new educational paradigms, allowing hundreds of thousands of learners to simultaneously undergo training in either a gamified or traditional format.

role. - Get an SSH key pair to connect to a virtual machine.
- Create a VM from a public image:

Under Image/boot disk selection, go to the Cloud Marketplace tab and select HyperMethod eLearning Server 5G.

Under Disks and file storage, specify at least 100 GB as your disk size.
Note
The image requires a 100 GB memory to run correctly. To download learning materials, use extra disk space.

Under Computing resources, specify the following:
- vCPU: 6 cores per 100 concurrent connections.
- RAM: 4 GB per vCPU.
- vCPU share: 100%.

Under Access:
- In the Service account field, select the previously created service account.
- Enter the username in the Login field.
- Paste the contents of the public SSH key file in the SSH key field.
Save the following parameters:

VM public IP address.

VM ID.

Availability zone.

Subnet ID.

- Connect to the VM over SSH. Use the username you provided when creating the VM, as well as the generated private SSH key.
- Install an SSL certificate. To do this, replace the
/home/user/els5/server.crt
and/home/user/els5/server.key
files with a certificate and customer’s private key in PEM format. You can either purchase an SSL certificate or generate one using letsencrypt.org. - Get the web client password from the
/first-login.txt
file. - Restart the VM.
- In your browser, open
https://<VM_public_IP_address>/
. - Use the following properties for authorization:
- Login:

/first-login.txt
file.

- Change the password.
If the settings are incorrect, repeat the installation.
