Yandex Cloud takes care of equipment operability and maintenance.
Integrated with the Yandex Cloud console, you can use it to select the appropriate server configuration with the required number of cores and RAM. If you need a ready‑made solution, Yandex BareMetal offers pre‑configured servers that can be launched in 30 minutes.
The service is suitable for hosting:
-
proprietary virtualization systems
-
unique enterprise solutions
-
applications requiring direct access to server hardware.
The KVM console is available in Yandex BareMetal, which you can use to manage the server and restore access to it.
At the Preview stage, Yandex BareMetal offers users access to: connections to Object Storage for reliable data storage, Cloud Backup for data backup and recovery, and Managed Service for Kubernetes® for cluster management. Backup and access management tools can also be used via the IAM system.
The Yandex Cloud billing system allows you to conveniently manage payments and track server rental costs.
Store any software on the servers, for example, install an operating system via a custom ISO image. L2 and L3 network connectivities allow you to host applications and services that require networks that support clustering at the IP address level. 1 Gbit/s and 10 Gbit/s interfaces are available on the servers, allowing you to efficiently host and run resource‑intensive applications.
“Our clients often use a combination of cloud-based and on‑premise platforms to work with IT systems. In launching Yandex BareMetal, we are opening up new scenarios for companies to work with high‑load services. E‑commerce platforms, online banking, and video streaming services show the highest demand for them.”
