Creating a notification channel with recipients

  1. On the Monium home page, select Notification methods on the left.

  2. At the top right, click Create → Notification channel.

  3. Specify the channel settings:

    • Name: Name the channel.

    • ID: Set a unique channel ID.

    • Select the alert severity levels for notifications.

    • Method: Specify the notification method.

    • Recipients: List notification recipients.

      Note

      To get notifications, the user must:

      • Have the monium.viewer role for the folder with the alert.
      • In the management console settings:
        • Enable Monitoring.
        • Depending on the notification method, specify an email address, phone number, Telegram or Yandex Messenger account.

      To specify a Telegram account or group:

      1. Add the @YandexCloudNotify_bot Telegram bot:

        • To your contacts to send notifications in private messages.
        • To a group to send notifications to that group.
      2. Run /start and copy the authorization code the bot generates in response.

      3. In the management console settings, click Telegram in the Set up field.

      4. Paste the authorization code and click Confirm.

        When sending notifications via Telegram, alert statuses are additionally color-coded.

      To specify Yandex Messenger:

      1. In the management console settings, next to Yandex Messenger, click Configure.

      2. Click Go to Yandex Messenger bot.

      3. Add the Yandex Cloud Notify bot:

        • To your contacts to send notifications in private messages.
        • To your chat to send notifications in chats.
      4. Run /start and copy the authorization code the bot generates in response.

      5. In the management console settings, paste the authorization code and click Confirm.

  4. Click Create. The channel will appear in the list.
