Creating a notification channel with recipients

On the Monium home page, select Notification methods on the left.

At the top right, click Create → Notification channel.

Specify the channel settings:

• Name: Name the channel.

• ID: Set a unique channel ID.

• Select the alert severity levels for notifications.

• Method: Specify the notification method.

• Recipients: List notification recipients.

  Note

  To get notifications, the user must:

  • Have the monitoring.viewer role for the folder with the configured alert.
  • In the management console settings:
    • Enable Monitoring.
    • Specify an email address, phone number, and Telegram account or group.

  To specify a Telegram account or group:

  1. Add the @YandexCloudNotify_bot Telegram bot:

     • To your contacts to send notifications in private messages.
     • To a group to send notifications to that group.

  2. Run /start and copy the authorization code the bot generates in response.

  3. In the management console settings, click Telegram in the Set up field.

  4. Paste the authorization code and click Confirm.

     When sending notifications via Telegram, alert statuses are additionally color-coded.

Click Create. The channel will appear in the list.
