Starting and stopping an ingestion

1. In the management console, select the resource folder to start an ingestion in.
2. Navigate to Yandex MetaData Hub.
3. Under Manage metadata, select Data Catalog.
4. Select the metadata catalog you need to start an ingestion in, then go to the Ingestions tab.
5. In the list of ingestions, click in the line with the ingestion and select Start.

Once successfully completed, the ingestion will get the Success status, and the ingested data will be available for viewing.

2. Navigate to Yandex MetaData Hub.
3. Under Manage metadata, select Data Catalog.
4. Select the catalog you need to stop an ingestion in, then go to the Ingestions tab.
5. In the list of ingestions, click in the row with a Running ingestion and select Stop.

4. Select the metadata catalog the ingestion was created in, then go to the Search tab.

The page displays info about the ingested data: data sources (clusters and custom installations), databases, and tables. Here you can find the metadata you need and mark it up, as well as analyze its structure and links between its parts.
