Note

You can create, modify, and delete node groups on BareMetal servers only via the management console.

You can change the name and node count in a node group on BareMetal servers. When scaling a group up, make sure servers with the required configuration are available in the selected pool.

When scaling a group down, the service automatically stops renewing the rent for servers removed from the group. You do not need any separate action to cancel the rent. After the paid period ends, servers are quarantined and then deleted from the folder.

Management console
  1. In the management console, select the folder.
  2. Navigate to Managed Service for Kubernetes.
  3. Select the Managed Service for Kubernetes cluster.
  4. Go to the Cluster management tab and select the Node group section.
  5. In the BareMetal group row, click and select Edit.
  6. Change the name or Nodes per group.
  7. Save your changes.
