Warning

We are sunsetting Yandex IoT Core. This page outlines the decommissioning timeline and procedure, and provides guidance for migration.

What's happeningWhat's happening

We have made the decision to discontinue Yandex IoT Core. We understand this may impact your workflows, and we are committed to supporting you through a smooth transition to alternative solutions.

Key datesKey dates

The decommissioning process will follow these three stages:

  • April 27, 2026: End of sales for Yandex IoT Core. Customers who signed up for the service earlier will be able to use it until November 1, 2026.

  • November 1, 2026: Transition to read-only mode. Creating new resources and writing data to registries and brokers will become unavailable. Remaining Yandex IoT Core users will only be able to view resources they created earlier.

  • December 1, 2026: Full decommissioning. Access to the interface will be disabled for all users.

What happens to your dataWhat happens to your data

Your data (lists of devices, device aliases, brokers, as well as device and broker certificates) will be preserved. After decommissioning, we will retain backup copies of your data until January 31, 2027, available to you upon request via our support.

MigrationMigration

Alternatively, migrate your scenarios to open source tools.

We have prepared a guide to help you with migration: Migrating from Yandex IoT Core to open-source MQTT solutions.

Warning

The tools offered for migration are open-source products developed and supported by third parties not affiliated with Yandex. The migration guide is provided for information purposes only. We bear no responsibility for the operation, functionality, security, or any consequences of using third-party tool software, nor possible errors due to the adaptation of your scenarios. Carefully read all documents governing the use of the tool you have chosen for migration.
