Getting started with Yandex IoT Core

Written by

Updated at June 15, 2026

Warning

Yandex IoT Core is no longer available to new users.

Current users can create resources until November 1, 2026. Afterwards, the service will go read-only and cease to operate on December 1, 2026. For more information on the timing and procedure, see Service shutdown.

In Yandex IoT Core, you can send messages and subscribe to them via MQTT. You can subscribe your IoT devices to topics of your device registry or message broker. The broker imposes fewer restrictions on the way messages are exchanged than the registry does.

Get started with a device registry or a broker. Read about the components of the service in Resource relationships in Yandex IoT Core.
