Data Transfer release notes: September 2023

Added support for the Object Storage source. For details, see the matrix of available transfers. This feature is at the Preview stage and is available upon request.

The following new types of data transformers are now supported:

• Data masking
• Splitting tables into subtables
• Replacing primary keys
• Converting column values to strings
• Sharding

Added support for CSV and Parquet formats for data on the Object Storage source and Parquet for data on the Object Storage target.

Added a setting for incremental backups that allows you to avoid potential data loss due to non-monotonically increasing serial or updated_at values.
