Changing security groups of a VM network interface

You can assign multiple security groups to a VM network interface.

For more information on how to change a VM name, description, and labels, see Updating a VM.

Management console

To update a list of security groups applied to your VM:

  1. In the management console, select the folder the VM belongs to.
  2. Select Compute Cloud.
  3. Click the VM name.
  4. Update the VM network interface security groups under Network interface:
    • In the top-right corner of the section, click and select Edit.
    • In the Security groups field of the window that opens, add new security groups to apply to the VM network interface or remove those no longer needed.
    • Click Save.
