Activating a promo code

Yandex regularly runs marketing campaigns with promo codes offered to users. To use a promo code, you need to activate it in Yandex Cloud Billing or in the management console.

Note

This action is available to users with the billing.accounts.editor role or higher for the billing account.

To access the management console, you need the resource-manager.clouds.member role or higher for the relevant cloud.

To activate:

Yandex Cloud Billing interface

Management console

Navigate to Yandex Cloud Billing.
Select an account on the Billing accounts page.
In the left-hand panel, select Account and click Activate promo code. The button only appears when a promo code becomes available.
Enter your promo code and click Activate.

All information about the promo code will be available in Yandex Cloud Billing under Grants.

Open the management console.
In the top-right corner, click .
In the widget that opens, click Activate promo code.
Enter your promo code and click Activate.

The widget will display information about the added promo code.

To change the visibility of private data, use the and buttons.
