Upgrading to the paid version
You do not upgrade to the paid version automatically after the trial period ends. To upgrade to the paid version, click Upgrade to paid version in Yandex Cloud Billing.
Paying for services
In Yandex Cloud, you pay for services based on the amount of resources consumed. Go to the service plans page to see the current prices and estimate your costs depending on what amount of resources you are going to use. For detailed guidelines on how to pay for resources after upgrading to the paid version, see the Yandex Cloud Billing documentation.
In Yandex Cloud, you only pay for the resources you actually consumed. If you do not use Yandex Cloud resources, you will not be charged. In addition, in some Yandex Cloud services, certain features are available for free.
Using the remainder of the initial grant
If you don't spend the full amount of the initial grant or one of its parts before upgrading to the paid version, you can use the remaining amount depending on when the grant expires:

The grant expires before you upgrade to the paid version.
The remaining amount expires and you can't use it to pay for Yandex Cloud services after upgrading to the paid version.

The grant expires after you upgrade to the paid version.
You can use the remaining amount to pay for services, but only until the grant expires: as soon as that happens, the remaining amount expires, too.
The grant terms of use remain in effect when you upgrade:
A remainder of part of the grant is only used to pay for the intended service(s).
The grant terms of use depend on the payment method you select when creating your billing account:

Examples
You are a resident of the Russian Federation and registered a business account with the Bank card payment method.
In 20 days, you spent ₽500 on Yandex Compute Cloud and ₽3,000 on other services. As you have fully spent one of the grant parts, the trial period terminates automatically and access to Yandex Cloud services is suspended unless you upgrade to the paid version.
If you upgrade to the paid version within 60 days, you can use the remainder of the grant until it expires:
- (1,000 - 500) = ₽500 for Compute Cloud.
You are a non-resident of the Russian Federation and registered a business account with the Bank card payment method.
In 20 days, you spent $10 on Yandex Compute Cloud services and $30 on other services.
You upgraded to the paid version. The trial period terminates automatically.
After upgrading to the paid version, you can continue to use the remainder of the grant until it expires:
- (15 - 10) = $5 for Compute Cloud.
- (50 - 30) = $20 for services other than Compute Cloud.
You are a resident of the Russian Federation and registered a business account with the Bank transfer payment method.
In 45 days, you spent ₽2,500 on various services.
You upgraded to the paid version. The trial period terminates automatically.
After upgrading to the paid version, you can continue to use the remainder of the grant until it expires:
- (4,000 - 2,500) = ₽1,500 on various services.
