This feature is in the Preview stage.

Management console
  1. In the management console, select the resource folder you created the metadata catalog in.

  2. Navigate to Yandex MetaData Hub.

  3. In the left-hand panel, select Data Catalog.

  4. In the list that opens, select the metadata catalog you want to create a term in.

  5. In the left-hand panel, select Terms and glossaries.

  6. Select a glossary you want to create a term in or create a new glossary.

  7. Click Create term.

  8. Set up the term:

    • In the Name field, enter a unique term name.

    • Optionally, describe the term.

    • Optionally, in the Synonyms field, add one or more synonyms for the term. To remove an added synonym, click to its right.

    • Optionally, in the Linked terms field, click Add; in the window that opens, select related terms from this glossary and click Save. To remove an added term, click to its right.

  9. Click Create.

Note

With the metadata AI markup on, the AI assistant automatically creates glossaries and terms and uses them to mark up your metadata. You can confirm, edit, or reject the glossaries and terms suggested by your AI assistant by hovering over the AI icon next to the suggestion and selecting the action.

You can enable the AI markup when updating the metadata catalog or on its Overview page.
