Issue descriptionIssue description

When using Managed Service for YDB, you get the RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error.

SolutionSolution

Check the cluster monitoring charts for exceeding Managed Service for YDB quotas and limits.
To view the Managed Service for YDB database monitoring charts, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your folder dashboard and select Managed Service for YDB.
  2. Click the database name and open the Monitoring tab.
  3. To get started with Yandex Monitoring metrics, dashboards, or alerts, click Open in Monitoring in the top panel.

On the page that opens, you will see the database status charts. If the Requsts per second and Request units per second metrics on database monitoring charts often touch the limits, increase the throughput in the Managed Service for YDB cluster settings.

Warning

Increasing the throughput in the database settings might increase its operating expenses.

You can also request a Managed Service for YDB quota increase from the management console.

If the issue persistsIf the issue persists

If the above actions did not help, create a support ticket. Provide the following information in your ticket:

  1. YDB cluster ID.
  2. Date and time when the issue occurred.
  3. Link to the database status chart in Yandex Monitoring.
  4. Error messages appearing when connecting to the database from client applications or via the YDB CLI.
