Issue descriptionIssue description

You need to update the version of the installed GitLab Community Edition or GitLab Enterprise Edition package on your Yandex Managed Service for GitLab instance.

SolutionSolution

You cannot update the software version on your own. Yandex Managed Service for GitLab instances automatically update their GitLab software as its new released versions are adapted to the Yandex Cloud environment.

If a GitLab software update is critical, create a support ticket. Provide the following information in your ticket:

  1. ID of the GitLab instance for which you need to update the installed software.
  2. Target GitLab version you want to install.
  3. Date and time of the update.
  4. Reason for the update.

Alert

During this operation, both the Managed Service for GitLab instance under update and any data in it will be inaccessible.
