Creating a semantic tag
You can only create a semantic tag in a project. To do this, you need the Admin
or Editor
role in the project.
When creating a semantic tag, the following options are available:
- Create a new tag.
- Add a dependent tag for an existing tag.
Creating a tag
-
Open the SpeechSense home page
. -
Go to the space you need and select a project.
-
In the Tags tab, click
Create tag. -
Select the tag type: Semantic.
-
Set the tag parameters:
-
Enter a name for the tag.
-
(Optional) Enter a tag description.
-
Select a color for your tag.
The benefits of using tag colors are twofold:
- Colors allow you to locate the tag you need in the list quicker.
- Colors make it easier working with dialogs. Clicking a tag will highlight the words it refers to with the same color.
-
(Optional) Select the Important tag option.
If this option is enabled, the tag will be highlighted when you open a dialog. Tags with this option inform you at a glance whether or not the recording contains any critical or inappropriate language, e.g., expletives.
-
In the Data to analyze section, specify the selection criteria for dialogs:
-
Select a period.
-
(Optional) Use the
button next to the Period field to select filters. For more information about filters, see Dialog filtering. -
Select a semantic attribute from the drop-down list. In the right-hand section, select one of the search suggestions or enter your own phrase.
To use semantic attributes, the filtered results must include at least 100 dialogs. You can see the number of dialogs that match the filters in the search bar on the right. SpeechSense analyzes these dialogs and offers search suggestions.
If more than 1,000 dialogs match the filter, 1,000 random dialogs are selected to create a list of suggestions from. In the bottom-right corner of the list, click Update list for SpeechSense to analyze another 1,000 random dialogs.
-
Set the minimum probability percentage at which to assign a tag to a dialog.
During the search, a probability is calculated for each dialog, which indicates the match rate of the dialog text. The higher the probability, the better the dialog matches the search query.
-
-
(Optional) Enable tag testing.
Note
By default, semantic tags get the
Agent
andCustomer
channels assigned at the same time, and this cannot be changed. -
-
Click Create tag.
Once created, the tag is activated automatically.
