-
Batch size: Maximum number of messages EventRouter groups together before sending from the source to the rule. Valid values range from 0 to 10. The default value is 10.
-
Polling timeout, ms: Maximum time in milliseconds EventRouter takes to group messages before sending them from the source to the rule. Valid values range from 0 to 20,000 milliseconds. The default value is 10,000 milliseconds.
The connector groups messages for a period not exceeding the specified survey timeout and sends these to a rule. At the same time, the number of messages does not exceed the specified group size.
-
-
Expand Additional parameters:
-
Enter a name and description for the connector. The naming requirements are as follows:
- The name must be from 3 to 63 characters long.

Click Create.
If you do not have the Yandex Cloud CLI installed yet, install and initialize it.
By default, the CLI uses the folder specified when creating the profile. To change the default folder, use the yc config set folder-id <folder_ID> command. You can also set a different folder for any specific command using the --folder-name or --folder-id parameter.

If you do not have Terraform yet, install it and configure the Yandex Cloud provider.
To create a connector for Message Queue:
-
In the configuration file, describe the properties of resources you want to create:
resource "yandex_serverless_eventrouter_connector" "example_connector" { bus_id = "<bus_ID>" name = "<connector_name>" description = "<connector_description>" deletion_protection = <true|false> labels = { <key_1> = "<value_1>" <key_2> = "<value_2>" ... <key_n> = "<value_n>" } ymq { queue_arn = "<queue_ARN>" service_account_id = "<service_account_ID>" visibility_timeout = "1m" batch_size = "3" polling_timeout = "100ms" } }Where:
-

-
Create the resources:
-
In the terminal, go to the directory where you edited the configuration file.
-
Make sure the configuration file is correct using this command:
terraform validateIf the configuration is correct, you will get this message:
Success! The configuration is valid. -
Run this command:
terraform planYou will see a detailed list of resources. No changes will be made at this step. If the configuration contains any errors, Terraform will show them.
-
Apply the changes:
terraform apply -
Type
yesand press Enter to confirm the changes.
Terraform will create all the required resources. You can check the new resources using the management console
or this CLI command:yc serverless eventrouter connector list -
To create a connector for Message Queue, use the Create REST API method for the connector resource or the connector/Create gRPC API call.
By default, the system creates a running connector. Stop the connector to prevent it from sending messages to the bus.
