Does DataLens support login via SSO?Does DataLens support login via SSO?

In Yandex DataLens, you can configure authentication using SSO or identity federation, if you have one. DataLens users can get authenticated using their corporate accounts.

How do I add a user and send them a link to the dashboard? How do I add a user and send them a link to the dashboard?

To allow another user to open your dashboard, configure access to Yandex DataLens:

  1. Invite a user with a Yandex account or add a federated or local user.

  2. Make sure the user has access permissions for the dashboard:

    1. Open the dashboard.

    2. In the Add member field, enter All or the name of the user who needs extended permissions.

    3. Go to the Current object section and set the permissions for the dashboard:

      • View: Viewing only.
      • Edit: Viewing and editing.
      • Administration: Viewing, editing, and management.
    4. Enable the Linked objects option to grant permissions for other objects linked to the dashboard, i.e., the connection, datasets, and charts.

The user will get access to your DataLens instance and objects with All permissions. You can assign this user individual permissions for objects.

You can send the link to the dashboard from the browser. For more information about permissions for DataLens objects, see this guide.

You can also make your dashboard public using Publishing objects.

Why do I get a permission error? Why do I get a permission error?

To fix the error, check the following:

  • The user was assigned the datalens.visitor role in the organization to access DataLens in it.
  • The user was granted the required permissions to the workbook that contains the current object and its related objects.
  • If you are using the old folder navigation, check the access permissions to the object. You can assign access permissions to all your users using the All group.

For more information about permissions to DataLens objects, see the relevant guide.

What permissions does an object copied to a folder get? What permissions does an object copied to a folder get?

If you copy an object to a folder, it gets the same permissions as the folder. For more on configuring permissions, see these guides.

How do I revoke a Yandex account access token? How do I revoke a Yandex account access token?

You can disable access to account data at any time by revoking a Yandex ID token:

  1. Open Yandex ID.
  2. Go to Logins and devices → Devices, services, and applications.
  3. Under Other applications and services, select DataLens.
  4. Click Delete.

Once the token is revoked, the connections it was used in will stop working (for details, see this error description).
