Creating a chart
To create a chart:

If you use a new DataLens object model with workbooks and collections:
- Go to the DataLens home page. In the left-hand panel, select Collections and workbooks.
- Open the workbook, click Create in the top-right corner, and select the appropriate object.
Follow the guide from step 3.

Go to the DataLens home page.

In the left-hand panel, click Charts.

Click Create chart → Chart in Wizard.

On the top panel, select a visualization type.

Drag the data fields you want to visualize into the chart sections.

Configure chart settings.

Save the chart:
- In the top-right corner, click Save.
- In the window that opens, enter a name for your chart and click Save.
Create a copy or draft of the chart
To create a chart copy, use one of these methods:
- In the top-right corner of your chart, click → Save as copy. In the window that opens, enter a name for the new chart and click Save.
- At the top of the chart, click → Duplicate. In the window that opens, enter a name for the new chart and click Apply.
- Go to the workbook page with the chart. In the row with the chart, click → Duplicate. In the window that opens, enter a name for the new chart and click Apply.
You can also create a draft of the chart by clicking → Save as draft in the upper right corner of the chart. For more information, see Versioning in Yandex DataLens.
Undoing and redoing changes in charts
When editing a chart, you can undo/redo any change introduced within the current version.
