Viewing service usage details

You can view charts and tables with information about Yandex Cloud service usage. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Yandex Cloud Billing.

  2. Select the account you want the details for.
  3. In the left-hand panel, select Usage details.
  4. Select the detail depth.

Depending on the selected detail depth, you will be able to view different data:

By default, usage details show the cost of consumed resources. Details in consumption units are available on the By product tab.

You can view usage details for one or more clouds. The selected clouds have a mark next to their name. By default, all the linked clouds are marked. To only view usage details for some of them, in the Clouds list, deselect the clouds you need no information about. To exclude Yandex DataLens, Yandex Tracker, or DataSphere usage info from details, deselect Consumption outside cloud at the bottom of the cloud list. To get details for selected clouds by specific product or label, click Filters and specify the products and labels to include in the report.

By default, you get data for the current month. To change this period, click and set the From and To dates or select a period. A date is defined as an interval from 0:00 to 23:59 (UTC+3). Data may be updated with a slight delay (up to several hours).

Note

If a cloud was previously linked to another billing account, consider the period when viewing usage details: details are available to the current billing account for the time starting when the new account was linked. For usage prior to the link, details are available to the previous account.

You can view usage details for one or more folders. The selected folders have a mark next to their name. By default, all the folders of the selected cloud are marked. To only view usage details for some of them, in the Folders list, deselect the folders you need no information about. To get details for selected folders by specific product or label, click Filters and specify the products and labels to include in the report.

You can view usage details by service resource labels. You can add a label to a resource and then specify the label name in the Label key list. If there are usage details available for the selected label, the chart will display information starting from the date the label was created. Below the chart, the table will show all values corresponding to the selected label.
You can also view details by a specific value of the label you select for one or more products in different folders of the selected cloud:

  1. Click Filters (by default, all products in all clouds and available folders are selected). The selected elements have a mark next to their name.
  2. Specify the criteria for details:
    • Click Products and deselect the products and services you need no information about. Click Apply.
    • In the Folders or Clouds list, deselect the elements you need no information about.
    • In the Labels list, set a specific label value to view details for it. This filter value applies to the label selected in the Label key field.

To get usage details over a specific period, for certain clouds and folders, select the required spaces from the All clouds and folders list; for specific products and labels, click All products or All labels, set the necessary values, and click Apply.

You can configure the charts to display the following:

  • Consumption: Amount before discount representing the resources consumed.
  • Due and payable: Total amount after discount representing the resources consumed.

The currency of the cost of services depends on the agreement and the country of residence:

  • For residents of Russia, the cost is represented in rubles (₽) and includes VAT.
  • For residents of Kazakhstan the cost is represented in tenge(₸) and includes VAT.
  • For non-residents of Russia and Kazakhstan, the cost is represented in US dollars ($) and does not include taxes and fees.

Interpreting the chartInterpreting the chart

The chart shows how data changed over time.
The number of details and their values depend on the selected detail depth, chart type, and filters:

  • Consumption: Shows the cost of consumed services before discounts. For resources within a committed volume, this value reflects the base cost.
  • Due and payable: Shows the cost of consumed services after discounts. The discount for committed volume of services is applied as soon as you start consuming the resources.

Hover over a chart line to bring up the tooltip. Each cloud, service, and product has its own color. See a description of measures below.

Interpreting the tableInterpreting the table

In the table, all data is presented as the total amount for the specified period (without splitting by date or cloud).

The number of columns in the table depends on the selected detail depth. See a description of columns below.

Field Description
Cloud Name of the cloud the resources were consumed in.
Shown only if you select details by cloud.
Service Name of the service the resources were consumed in.
Shown only if you select details by service/product.
Product Product name.
Shown only if you select details by product.
Unit Units and amount of resources consumed.
Shown only if you select details by product.
Consumption cost Cost of consumed resources before discount.
Discount Discount amount in the contract currency (excluding VAT or other taxes and fees). The discount for a committed volume of services is applied and displayed as soon as you start consuming the resources.
Due and payable Total cost of consumed resources after discount.

When using the committed volume of services (CVoS):

  • The CVoS discount is applied and displayed as soon as you start consuming the resources.
  • The CVoS cost is distributed among individual resources. The details show the base resource cost and the applied discount.
  • The remaining unused CVoS is displayed separately.
  • Final CVoS balances are calculated at the end of the month to make sure the reports indicate the correct amounts.
