Chaos Mesh

Chaos Mesh is an open-source platform that you can use to simulate various failures and faults in your Kubernetes clusters. You can perform simulation at different development and testing stages, as well as after release. You can use Chaos Mesh to detect and eliminate potential threats and set up security policies, e.g., using Kyverno.

1. Create a node group with at least 14 GB of RAM.

2. Configure the application:

   • Namespace: Select or create a namespace for Chaos Mesh.
   • Application name: Enter an application name.

3. Click Install.

4. Wait for the application to change its status to Deployed.

5. Open and log in to the Chaos Mesh web interface.

• Faults and failures in Kubernetes clusters
• Experiments with a fault chain
• Monitoring failures and managing experiments through the Chaos Mesh web interface
