CasaOS

CasaOS is a utility for managing your cloud using Docker. It is designed to enhance cloud user experience for developers and content creators while ensuring easy access and scalability.

1. Get an SSH key pair to connect to a virtual machine (VM).

2. Create a VM from a public image. Under Image/boot disk selection, go to the Cloud Marketplace tab and select CasaOS. Under Access:

   • Enter the username in the Login field.
   • Paste the contents of the public SSH key file in the SSH key field.

3. Connect to the VM over SSH. Use the username you provided when creating the VM, as well as the generated private SSH key.

4. Grant administrator permissions to the user:

   sudo su
   

5. Open the admin_password file:

   vi /root/admin_password
   

6. Copy the password. You will need it to access the web interface.

7. Open http://<VM_public_IP_address>/ in your browser.

8. Use the following parameters for authorization:

   • Username: Admin
   • Password: <password_from_admin_password_file>

   Change the password if needed.
