Getting started with Connection Manager

Manage connections to PostgreSQL, MySQL®, ClickHouse®, and Redis databases using Yandex Connection Manager.
Integrating with managed database services
- To enable Yandex Connection Manager integration with managed database clusters, contact support
. Once access to Yandex Connection Manager is confirmed, the process of creating connections for managed database clusters will start automatically. - Create a Managed Service for PostgreSQL, Managed Service for MySQL®, or Managed Service for ClickHouse® cluster.
- In the management console
, select the folder where you want to check a connection. - Select Yandex MetaData Hub.
- In the left-hand panel, select
Connection manager.
In the connection list, you can view the connections created for your clusters and configure access to them. In the list of connection dependencies, you can view which managed database clusters are using this connection.

- In the management console
, select the folder you want to create a connection in. - Select Yandex MetaData Hub.
- In the left-hand panel, select
Connection manager. - Click Create connection.
- Enter a name and database type for the connection.
- Optionally, add a description and label for the connection.
- Specify connection parameters depending on the selected database:
- Specify the data required for connection authentication.
- Click Create.
Once you created a connection, you can view its settings in the connection list, modify them, and manage access to that connection.

- View the connection information.
- Change connection settings.
- Configure connection access permissions.
- Delete the connection you no longer need.
