On the project editing page, you can change the project name and description, set consumption limits, and configure integration with other Yandex Cloud services:

  1. Select the relevant project in your community or on the DataSphere homepage in the Recent projects tab.

  2. To change the project name or description, click to the right of its current name. In the window that opens:

    • Name: Specify the project name.
    • You can click Add description and add a description, if required.
    • Click Save.
  3. To change other settings, go to the Settings tab.

  4. Click  Edit in the appropriate section.

    • Under General settings:

      • Stop inactive VM after: Specify the time within which the VM will be stopped and deleted from the project if not running any computations.
      • VM configuration for remote connection: Select the configuration for the VM to create when connecting to the local IDE.
    • Under Advanced settings:

      • Default folder: Specify the default folder for working with Yandex Cloud resources.
      • Service account: Specify the service account which DataSphere will use to create Yandex Data Processing clusters and perform other actions in Yandex Cloud services. The service account must have the required roles.
      • Subnet: Specify a subnet in the ru-central1-a availability zone if you need one to connect to other Yandex Cloud services. Along with the subnet, you must specify a service account with the vpc.user role. To retain access to the internet and pip repositories in the project, the specified subnet must have a set up NAT gateway, and the service account must have the vpc.gateways.user role.

      Note

If you specified a subnet in the project settings, the time to allocate computing resources may be increased.

      • Security group: Specify a security group, if used in your organization.
      • Yandex Data Processing cluster: Select the Yandex Data Processing cluster, if required.
    • Under Limits, you can set up restrictions for your project.

    • Click Save.
